GCC is an organization established in the year 1956 under Andhra Pradesh cooperative societies Act 1964. GCC Established for socio up-liftment of tribal who are the inhabitants in the Agency areas of state of Andhra Pradesh and there are 3 Societies viz. G.L.Puram, Salur and Parvathipuram are functioning in the Division.

The main objectives are:

To ensure procure Non Timber Forest Produce ( NTFP) collected by the Tribals and also Agriculture Produce ( A.P.) grown by the tribal farmers duly paying them remunerative prices and thereby eliminating from the middlemen and private traders who were indulging in unfair trade practices.

The procurement of MFP in 2016-17 is Rs.1.82Crores

To ensure supply Essential Commodities under the public Distribution System (PDS) and other daily requirements (DRs ) at reasonable price to the tribal consumers through a net work of 102 Daily Requirement ( DR ) sales Depots .

The turnover of the said activity is Rs.19.35Crores against the Target of Rs.19.92Crores 2016-17.

To provide Short –term credit facility to the tribal farmers for their seasonal agricultural operation through the affiliated Girijan Primary Cooperative Marketing Societies (GPCMS).

Provided Rs.14.16lakhs for Khariff 2016.

This Division has sold RMD products ( Value Added Products) worth Rs.83.55Lakhs in 2016-17.
