1MALARIA Disease profile
  • 135448 Blood smears were collected for Malaria test. 253 Malaria positive detected (January -2018 to 30th October 2018).
  • 150195 Blood smears were collected for malaria test. 1593 Malaria positive detected (During year 2017).

  • Special IRS round conducted on 01-04-2018 to 10-04-2018 among all 55 Tribal Ashram Schools / Hostels.

4Action Plan for control of seasonal Epidemic Diseases
  • Each PHC Medical Officer should conduct a Medical camp in a village in every week twice i.e. Tuesday and Friday.
  • From June to November 960 Medical Camps have proposed and till to date 800 were conducted.
  • High Risk with expected date of delivery (EDD) ANCs should be monitored by the ANM and Medical Officer wherever emergency situation will happen then required services should be given by the ANM and Medical Officer.
  • (02) Special Epidemic Teams constituted with CHO/MPHEO Health Supervisor, Health Educator and Health Assistant in ITDA Parvathipuram under the control of Dy.DM&HO.
5Comprehensive School Health Programme
 Under this programme all Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions (Ashram/Gurukulam) are provided 24 x 7 Medical services to inmates. 55 Health Volunteers and 11 ANMs has placed. All students of Ashram/Residential Schools have to screen by Medical Officer and Paramedical staff. The screening tests were completed for 2018.

An amount of Rs.17,000/- was released to each PHC and Rs.3,000/- also released to 55 Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions (Ashrams) to meet the expenditure towards transport charges to refer the students along with escort officer and parent of student for higher hospital to give better treatment under referral mechanism.
6Pregnant Women Vasathi Gruham at YTC Saluru
 An intervention was taken up to overcome this issue by established a ‘hostel for Pregnant women’ in the ITDA of Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. It was established by the Project Officer, ITDA Parvathipuram, at Youth Training Center, Saluru on 17-09-2018 for the Tribal pregnant women. Most probably for caring the Pregnant women these who belong to hill top villages which are not have transport to reach nearest hospital or referral unit. The pregnant from the remote habitations were identified through ICDS and health department staff and motivated them to join the hostel at least one month before the expected date of delivery. This helps to improve their nutritional standards and to keep them close to the hospital at the time of onset of labour pain.

Delivery Arrangements: If any one of the admitted pregnant women get labour pains, the health staff will be alerted and take her to the CHC Saluru by 108 Ambulance immediately along with a Health person and taken care of her until she delivers.

  4. To provide the eligibility for JSY, NTR baby kit, and birth certificate.

  7. After delivery one memento and Rs.500/- for financial assistance.
