Most probably for caring the Pregnant women these who belong to hill top villages which are not have transport to reach nearest hospital or referral unit. The pregnant from the remote habitations were identified through ICDS and health department staff and motivated them to join the hostel at least one month before the expected date of delivery. This helps to improve their nutritional standards and to keep them close to the hospital at the time of onset of labour pain.|
Delivery Arrangements: If any one of the admitted pregnant women get labour pains, the health staff will be alerted and take her to the CHC Saluru by 108 Ambulance immediately along with a Health person and taken care of her until she delivers.
